Web-based application for knowledge testing

Many teachers are concerned in students‘ classes‘ attendance. As a stimulating measure, teachers commonly use closed type tests, for which they reward students by some additional marks. However, these tests preparation and revising takes much time. Also it is necessary to print these tests on paper and spent lecture‘s time while giving them to students in different tests‘ variants. The purpose of this work is to automate closed type tests scenario and solve the problems mentioned before. System, which is called “Drop of Knowledge“ is designed for teacher as well as for student. Teacher, using this system, will be able to create new tests, add questions to them, define the number of questions, which students will get randomly by doing particular test, as well as viewing students’ results and letting students view them to check their mistakes. Students, using this system will be able to do tests, activated by teachers, and if let by teacher – view their own results and mistakes they made in test. While designing system “Drop of Knowledge“, survey results as well as programs‘ designed for smart devices with the thematic of knowledge testing, results‘ conclusions were analyzed.
