The dissertation investigates cement excess removal process in implant-supported cement-retained metal ceramic restorations, it analyses different in vitro and clinical factors that influence the quality of cement remnants detection after the delivery of the crowns. The theoretical part of the paper discusses the current clinical recommendations for safe cementation protocol of implant-supported crowns, shows the importance of the implant abutment margin position according to the soft tissues. Also analyses the use of different types of the luting cement and many methods how to minimise the cement excess. The investigative part of the thesis is based on two researches.
