NFC technology application in healthcare

This bachelor thesis examines the medication-use system, which is prone to human and systematic errors. Due to its simplicity and increasing use, the problems with the medication-use system can be solved by near-field communication technology, also known as NFC. This paper focuses on how NFC can help reduce and even eliminate the errors in the medication-use system. Following analysis, conclusion has been made that NFC is suitable for solving the errors studied in this paper. A software architecture solution and its alternatives are presented and are based on NFC technology application.
