Determination of Chromium in Toothpastes by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry Determination of chromium in toothpastes by atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS and GFAAS) method has been suggested. Various optimum conditions have been determined by FAAS (air and acetylene gas flow rate, the influence acids concentration, and the influence of 16 ions on the determination of chromium) and GFAAS (pyrolysis and atomization temperatures, matrix modifier).
