This research delt with public contribution and it Role in increasing local development case study s Fashaga locality, Gedaref State (2000-2010) Research problem is stated in the following questions what is the role of public contributions in upgrading local development? Thus role is still effective and worth paying attention to record all the projects of the public contributions. The hypothesis of the research of them are: the public contributions have great share in increasing local development is Fashaga locality , public contributions over different areas political services, Economically and sociality. The methodology followed in this research is descriptive analytical methodology SPSS was used for data analysis , with sample size (60) person from the population some of the research results stated as , public contribution is Fashaga locality has an effective role. The public contribution must cover different areas , social services and political contribution of locality citizens in determining property of projects and decision making has an effective role in projects success. Some of the recommendations stated as: government must increase , locality projects trudged. Qualification of the staff in local development. Attention must paid to coordination and cooperation between official and public efforts on the other hands with organizations concerned with social development to achieve these goals
