أثر الدمج المصرفي على مؤشرات الأداء في البنوك في وجه العولمة المصرفية: دراسة تحليلية لتجارب دمج البنوك في السودان للفترة 1993م– 2015م

This research dealt with the effect of banking merger on the performance indicators in banks in the face of banking globalization together with an analytical study of the experiences of bank integration in Sudan 1993-2015. The main question dealt with in this research is to what extent did the merger policy in Sudan improved the financial position of the specified bank .The importance of this research stems from the fact that it dealt with financial changes and developments and the rise in banking transactions which affects the whole world and the Sudanese economy in general and the banking systems specifically .this research aimed at measuring the effect of banking integration on the performance indicators in the Sudanese banks and seeing the experiences of integration and ownership worldwide, regionally and locally .This is to benefit from these experiences and to evaluate the experience of Farmer commercial bank and Blue Nile Bank and Khartoum Bank before and after the integration. Also to be familiar with the recommendations of basil committee on capital adequacy and the evaluation of the experience of farmer bank of Khartoum Bank in this respect. This research is based on a number of hypotheses: the most important of which is that the banking integration in Sudan results in increasing the percent of equity rights in the integrated banks and merger affects positively the volume of banking deposits .banking integration in sudan results in increase of the profits of the integrated banks and affects positively the capital adequacy of these banks .Moreover , banking integration results in reduction in employment. This research adopted the historical, descriptive and analytical approach together with a case study .This research came with a number of results the most important of which is that the integration process of all the sample banks affects positively the volume of banking deposits and the overall equity rights .The merger affects positively the standards of capital adequacy in all the sample banks. The merger process also affects positively the profits of Farmer commercial bank and blue Nile Bank but affects negatively the profits of Khartoum bank. There is no effect of the integration process with regards to work farce if we exclude Farmer Commercial Bank in which it decreased from 851 to 717 worker. This research concluded with a number of recommendations the most important of which is encouraging banks to merge voluntarily to achieve the benefits of the economies of scale and maximizing profits and necessarily take into consideration reconciliation of employees conditions in the integrated banks without resulting in an increase in wages .It is important to carry out a comprehensive study of all the conditions of the tow banks willing to integrate from all financial and administrative considerations and give importance to improving ways of internal control to protect to banks from the risks and problems facing them and secure the banking stability and safety
