This research in the title of "THE FUNDAMENTALS FOR CHOOSING THE LANGUAGE CONTENT IN ARABIC LANGUAGE TEACHING PROGRAMS TO ITS NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS - The series of International University of Africa for Teaching Arabic to Its Non-native Speakers as a Model" has tried to delve into the fundamentals of choosing the language content including its various branches in the Arabic language teaching programs to its non-native speakers, via what has been discussed by the experts of this area, and to arrive at a solid ground of these fundamentals. The problem of the study was represented in finding an answer to the following question: ‘What fundamentals have been considered when choosing the language content for the Arabic language teaching programs to its non-native speakers?’ The objectives of the study were: to define the language content, to disclose its components, to identify its fundamentals of choice and treatment, and to disclose the positive and negative aspects of the series of International University of Africa for Teaching Arabic to Its Non-native Speakers, with respect to the language content. The descriptive approach was adopted in this research. And among the tools, the content analysis tool was used, by combining different tools and opinions of the field experts, in addition to observation of the researcher, in order to look into the language content of the series of International University of Africa and to disclose the positive and negative aspects of that content, hoping to benefit from it those who are related to the field, especially the Arabic Language Institute of IUA. The most important findings of the research were that the series of International University of Africa for teaching Arabic to its non-native speakers carries most of the characteristics of a good book in the field of Arabic teaching as a foreign language in general, and that the authors of the series have paid attention to the fundamentals recommended by the experts of the field regarding to the selection and treatment of the language content branches such as sounds, vocabulary and structures, and that the series has generally focused on teaching instead of focusing on its analysis and description, and that it’s free of grammatical errors although it’s not free of typographical errors. The most important recommendations of the research were: to complete the Series with the necessary sound recordings, especially for the Arabic sounds and dialogues, and to put the necessary lists and indexes for the series, and to review the typographical errors in future editions
