The research talk about the effectiveness of the telecommunications sector in the economic development goals in Sudan service, represented the problem addressed by the research study in the evolution of the telecommunications sector in Sudan and what is its role in supporting the economic development process, and what is its impact on other sectors of the economy, the goal of research is to identify the size of the development that has occurred in the telecommunications sector in Sudan, and to highlight the role played by the other sectors of service, have been identified several assumptions, including: the great development in the telecommunications sector in Sudan reflected positively on the overall performance of the Sudanese economy, and adopted the research on the historical method of analytical and descriptive. The research found the results highlighted that there is a major development occurred in the telecommunications sectors in Sudan, which led to increase the proportion of its contribution to the GDP and public revenues, and the use of technologies and services provided by the telecommunications sector, which contributed significantly to the development of other sectors, as well as the contribution of the telecommunications sector to increase employment and business opportunities. Search offers a number of recommendations including the need to increase investments in the telecommunications sector in Sudan and bring the national capital of foreign capital invested in the place of this sector
