Abstract

Mastergradsoppgave, Høgskolen i Innlandet, 2018.English: Previous research in high-stakes assessment indicate that teachers pay attention to different aspects of students performace in the assessment of oral English, both nationally and internationally (Bøhn, 2016; Iwashita, Brown, McNamara & O’Hagan, 2008). This thesis explores what teachers in the English subject at the upper secondary level identify as important to assess when assessing oral English in the classroom setting. Classroom assessment is in this thesis defined as assessment that may have both formative and summative purposes.
