The objective was to validate the efficiency of a commercial vaccine tetravalent (E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. tenella, and E.preacox) to control avian coccidiosis in a farm of broiler chickens under conditions of natural challenge. The chickens were divided into two groups of 100 animals each. Group 1 was vaccinated against coccidia (E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. tenella, E. preacox) on the first day of age and animals were fed food without anticoccidiostatos. On the other hand group 2 received an anti coccidiostat in food on the first day of age. Anticoccidial vaccine was applied by ocular spray. The parasite challenge was natural.
