The present work was made July 2001 in order to evaluate the effect of different diets from seaweed on the survival and growth (development) of Apocyclops aff. Panamensis. The experiment lasted 15 days and academic Unit Mazatlán Sinaloa was made in the facilities of the Institute of Sciences of the Sea and Limnology (UNAM). The system consisted of a fiber glass aquarium (50x30x40) to which added 10 liters of fresh water filtered 5µ was placed a thermostat to present/display controlled conditions of temperature (28ºC), also constant stayed fotoperiodo (8 hours light).
