The adaptability of aquatic organisms to changes in temperature and salinity are influenced by several biotic and abiotic parameters (Chung, 1994a, 1994b). Salinity and acclimatization temperature is a key factor in the physiological response of tropical aquatic organisms (Brett, 1979). In acclimatization, it is simpler to decrease salinity rather than increase it, which contrasts with the thermal adaptation (Chung, 1996, 2001).
