The work was developed in Laboratory conditions. Bean seed collected in three localities of the Nayarit Coastal Plain was used. It was used A completely randomized design with a factorial arrangement A x B; The factor A were the collections and the factor B nine solutions Osmóticas of mannitol. The experimental unit was formed with 100 seeds placed in a "Petri" box, which was deposited in A germination chamber at 25 ° C. The evaluated variables were: percentage of germination, root length and length of stem.
