This paper studies Mexican public policies on nanotechnology according to the indicators established by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Although Mexican policies on science, technology and innovation are biased towards the private sector, Mexico has yet to put in place policies for the promotion of research, development and marketing of nanotechnology.
