Formação dos futuros professores em Ciências: Biologia e Química

The training of teachers in the dual licensing modalities is not common at national level, since this type of training required the interconnection of curricula of two different courses, the training period of which should occur in approximately five years. It is believed that in the municipality of Humaitá-AM, the double teacher training is favorable, since the course's students are being able to work in both the Natural Sciences and Biology and Chemistry disciplines. Thus, the present research entitled "Investigating the training of future science teachers: Biology and Chemistry in the South of Amazonas" had the objective of analyzing the training of future professors of the Dual Degree in Sciences course: Biology and Chemistry, in the municipality of Humaitá -AM. The methodology used in this research had a qualitative approach with the purpose of answering the questions proposed in this work, with this it was done a semistructured interview with 76 students enrolled regularly, and a documentary research. For the analysis, a critical education perspective was used that could account for the basis of the analyzes carried out. It was found that the student body is composed expressively by women, and about 58% of the students are not from the municipality of Humaitá and are in the youngest age group between 20 and 22 years. These aspects are reflected in the choice of course since most of the external motivations that led them in choosing the course was the lack of choice in their home city. Reasons such as the lack of teachers in the job market as well as the very identification with the areas of science also was part of the act of choosing the course. Thus, it is necessary to reflect on the way in which these future educator professionals are being formed, understanding their importance in the struggle for a quality education.A formação de professores nas modalidades de licenciatura dupla, não é comum em âmbito nacional, visto que esse tipo de formação exigi a interligação de grades curriculares de dois cursos distintos, cujo período de formação deve ocorrer em aproximadamente cinco anos. Acredita-se que no município de Humaitá-AM, a dupla formação de professores seja favorável, uma vez que os acadêmicos do curso estão sendo habilitados para atuar tanto na disciplina de Ciências Naturais, como de Biologia e Química. Com isso, a presente pesquisa intitulada “Investigando a formação dos futuros professores em Ciências: Biologia e Química no Sul do Amazonas” teve como objetivo analisar a formação dos futuros professores do curso de Licenciatura Dupla em Ciências: Biologia e Química, no município de Humaitá-AM. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa teve uma abordagem qualitativa com o intuito de responder as indagações proposta neste trabalho, com isso foi realizada uma entrevista semiestruturada com 76 alunos regulamente matriculados, e uma pesquisa documental. Para a análise foi utilizado uma perspectiva crítica de educação que pudessem dar conta de embasar as análises realizadas. Constatou-se que o quadro discente é composto expressivamente por mulheres, e cerca de 58% dos alunos não são do município de Humaitá e estão na faixa etária mais jovem entre 20 e 22 anos. Esses aspectos se refletem na escolha do curso uma vez que a maioria das motivações exteriores que os levaram na escolha do curso foi a falta de opção na sua cidade de origem. Motivos como a falta de professores no mercado de trabalho bem como a própria identificação com as áreas da ciência também fez parte no ato da escolha do curso.
