International audienceToday, one of the most important research directions in civil aviation aims at improving the environmental impact of aircraft. Noise nuisance and aircraft emissions can be minimized through improved aircraft and engine designs and operations. This research deals with the optimization of aircraft operations: in particular, the departure phase. In a recent paper, Torres et al. presented the multicriteria departure procedure (MCDP) concept, which focuses on the optimization of departure procedures minimizing air quality, carbon dioxide emissions, and perceived noise on ground.
