The history of Andean Cordillera s crossing has been set at long time range. But the inca transport system was brung up to date just before Europeans' settlement. Inca people had developed linear routes through wide andean Altiplanos, using llamas between stopover places. The purpose of this paper is to study three kinds of mountains' crossing during the european discoveries. -The expeditions in the North of the Andean Cordillera (1929-40) which started from the Coro Peninsula (in the present country of Venezuela), from Santa Marta, from the carribean coast or from Quito city.
