The experimental dolomitization of calcite at 150° C and various CO₂ pressures has been carried out in the system CaCO₃-MgCl₂-H₂O-CO₂, with a prototype autoclave. The morphological observation and the relation study of growing crystalline phases and the chemical investigation of reacting aqueous solutions show that dolomitization proceeds by successive dissolutions and recrystallizations of the different minerals : Ca-magnesite, protodolomite and Ca-dolomite. The examination of the intermineral epitaxial growths account for the pseudomorph formation of calcite to dolomite.La dolomitisation expérimentale de la calcite est réalisée dans le système CaCO₃-H₂O-MgCl₂-pCO₂ à 150° C, au moyen d'un autoclave prototype.
