La permingeatite Cu2Sb Se4, un nouveau minéral du groupe de la luzonite

Permingeatite, Cu₃SbSe₄, a new selenide of the luzonite-germanite group was found in Predborice, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. Tetragonal, D¹¹/2d-I[-4]2 m, with a = 5.63, c = 11.23 Å, c/a = 1.994, Z = 2, dₓ = 5.82. The strongest lines in the powder pattern are : 3.251 (10) ; 1.986 (9) ; 1.697 (8) ; 1.290 (6) ; 1.148 (7). Microprobe analysis gave : Cu — 30.7 ; Sb — 17.4 ; As — 1.5 ; Se — 50.4 ; total 100.0. In polished section it is light brownish pink, strongly anisotropic with mono-synthetic twins. Microhardness (Vickers) : 234 kg/mm². Reflectivity (%) : 28.8-30.4 (420 nm), 27.9-29.7 (500 nm), 24.5-25.2 (600 nm), 23.8-25.4 (640 nm). It occurs with berzelianite, hakite, eskebornite, umangite, naumannite, clausthalite, ferroselite, klockmannite, gold, pechblende, hematite, goethite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and other minerals in the carbonate vein of the Predborice ore deposit. Les raies les plus intenses du diagramme de poudre sont les suivantes : 3,251 (10) ; 1,986 (9) ; 1,697 (8) ; 1,290 (6) ; 1,148 (7) Å. Analyse chimique (microsonde électronique) : Cu — 30,7 ; Sb — 17,4 ; As — 1,5 ; Se — 50,4 ; total 100,0. En section polie, elle est brun rose clair, fortement anisotrope. Macles en lamelles monosynthétiques. Microdureté (Vickers) 234 kg/mm². Pouvoir réflecteur : 28,8-30,4 (420 nm) ; 27.9-27,9 (500 nm) ; 25,4-25,2 (600 nm) ; 23,8-25,4 (640 nm). Trouvée dans un filon de calcite avec berzelianite, hakite, eskebornite, umangite, clausthalite, ferroselite, klockmannite, or natif, pechblende, hématite, goethite, chalcopyrite, pyrite et d'autres minéraux non encore identifiés.
