The social sense(s) : coordination of attention and social interaction. This article highlights the convergence between work on social attention in cognitive ethology and developmental psychology. The two approaches share an emphasis on the connection between the coordination of attention and the structure of social interaction. However, ethologists and psychologists diverge when they examine the nature of social skills.
