Heidegger's Critique of the Husserl/Searl Account of Intentionality The two different conceptions of action, that of Heidegger and that of what can be deduced from Husserl, for example by Searle, derive from the two philosphers' different conceptions of the notion of intentionality : Husserl' s is linked to the notion of representation and Heidegger's to the notion of being in the world.
