The biologie and geodynamic interest of the paleobiogeographic maps is shown from examples furnished by some benthic Foramini-ferids of late cretaceous age. Owing to them, are approached the strict linkage between populations and types of sedimentation, as well as the problems put by the large and instantaneous dispersion of some species, probably meroplanktic, and able to cross an ocean of several hundreds km. On the other hand, some endemic species seem to be epi-continental indexes.
