The position of grandparents after the birth of a baby. The expectations of parents taking part in the ELFE cohort study. In the context of an early childhood childcare and education system that is strictly divided by age and institutions, this study examines how children interact with each other at the transitional age of 2-3 years in different community childcare facilities for very young children, including the " older" children’s section in a crèche, a nursery school, and in two primary schools – a pre-school class in one, and a primary school class in another.
