Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) gels are step-growth hydrogel networks that can be formed using thiol-ene polymerization. Four-arm PEG monomers can be functionalized with norbornene and then crosslinked with matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) degradable sequences.
