In this study, researchers made motorcycle brake pads using natural fiber composite materials and environmentally friendly artificial fibers with several variations in material composition to determine the value of safety, wear, and coefficient of friction. The materials used in this study were flax fiber, fiberglass, 40,50, and 60 brass mesh powders, calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, and polyester resin and catalyst as the matrix.
