Analisis Perbaikan Kualitas Produk Melalui Pemilihan Vital Process Parameter (VPP) Menggunakan Metode Process Capability Analysis (Studi Kasus: Divisi Printing Pt. Dan Liris, Sukoharjo)

This research was conducted at PT. And Liris, Sukoharjo precisely in the Printing division with products in the form of printing batik cloth (batik cloth). The batik printing fabric that was studied was batik cloth through the flat printing process using the Ichinose machine. This study aims to determine the types of defects that occur in the product, the ability of the production process of printed batik cloth using the Process Capability Analysis method, vital process parameters (VPP) from the results of the CRT diagram and proposed improvements. This PCA method is effectively used to find out how the ability of the production process is running against the product specifications set by the company. The results in the analysis using the Process Capability Analysis method, obtained the value of Cp and Cpk from the two basic fabrics used in the production of batik fabrics, namely cotton and rayon fabric is less than 1, so it can be said that the running production process has not been statistically good because Products that exceed product specifications. The proposed improvement in this research is by referring to the root cause obtained in the translation of the CRT diagram in the form of adding sensors and designing tools
