Background: Neuropathic pain due to chronic constriction injury lead to pain behavioral changes and alteration of some substances in dorsal root ganglion and spinal cord. The result of thermal withdrawal latency and immunohistochemical analysis of substances in dorsal root ganglion and spinal cord shows that wet cupping therapy (WCT) has beneficial effects to reduce neuropathic pain in chronic constriction injury (CCI).
