Drug availability is a critical factor in ensuring rationality of drug use. In addition, availability is essential since drugs are part of the link between patients and healthcare. Drugs save lives, improve public health and drive trust and public participation in healthcare services. Issue of drug availability, especially for chronic disease drugs such as anti-hypertensives, is often found in healthcare at Community (Puskesmas).
