AKTIVITAS PELABUHAN KALIANGET TAHUN 1912-1945

The focus of this research is the activity of Kalianget port in Madura 1912- 1945. Kalianget port is a means of distribution of Madura salt production to be distributed to regions throughout Indonesia even in international flights. This study uses historical method: heuristic, source critic, interpretation, and histriography. As the results of this study show the Kaliangetportwas officially opened in 1912 under the supervision of the Dutch colonial government. In addition to being a trading port, Kalianget port also serves as a means of connecting the islands in Madura. The activity of Kalianget harbor had ups and downs along with the change of forces in the HindiaBelanda. At the date of its development Kalianget during the HindiaBelanda and at the time of Japanese occupation is not so much different.
