Background : Extensive cervical lesion involving dentine tissue can cause dentin hipersensitivity with various intensity of pain. The most commonly used agent is fluoride containing agent that have been shown to be effective in relieving the pain. To restore the cervical lesion cavity, dentin bonding may be performed after hypersensitivity treatment procedures. How ever, the effect of desensitizing agent on the bond strength of adhesive restoration is controversial.
