UJI AKTIVITAS ANTITUSIF DARI SEDIAAN SIRUP EKSTRAK ETANOL CAMPURAN DAUN JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolia), DAN JAHE MERAH (Zingiber officinale var rubrum) SECARA IN VIVO

Citrus aurantifolia Leaves and Zingiber officinale var rubrum Rhizomes, empirically has been used as an antitussive herbal medicine in which have active ingredients that’s a indicate antitussive activity. This study estimated the antitussive effect of the mixed ethanol extracts (Citrus aurantifolia Leaves and Zingiber officinale var rubrum Rhizomes to prove its empirical evidence in difference ratio. And describe the characteristic of four formulas that has been formulated. The antitussive activity of the mixed ethanol extracts in difference ratio, were evaluated by using a classical model induced by ammonium hydroxide liquor in mice. The results showed that formula 1, 2, and 3 gived significant inhibition (22.85%, 13.07% and 24.97%) respectively. The significant activity is shown in ANOVA one way and post-hoc test analysis
