DETEKSI SEROPOSITIF VIRUS NEWCASTLE DISEASE PADA AYAM BURAS (Gallus domesticus) DI KECAMATAN KEDUNGWARU KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG DENGAN METODE UJI HI (Hemagglutination Inhibition)

This research is purposed to determine seropositivity for Newcastle disease (ND) at Kedungwaru subdistrict of Tulungagung district. One hundred blood serum samples was collected from native chicken, between January to March 2017. The serological test was done at the virological and immunological Laboratory, Microbiological Departement of Veterinary Medicine of Airlangga University of Surabaya. Serum samples examinated using Hemagglutination Inhibition (HI) assay. Individual serum was regarded as being seropositive if test result show HI antibody titter ≥ (OIE, 2009). Seropositivity for Newcastle disease was detect on 23 of 100 serum samples
