WHO recommend weaning food is given to infants aged 6-24 months. There is a maduresse culture in giving weaning food before infant is 6 months old. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of giving weaning food 0-6 months based on transcultural nursing theory. Design used was descriptive with cross-sectional approach. Population was madurese mothers with the infants of 0-6 months who has been given weaning food. 61 sample respondents were chosen by cluster sampling method.
