Introduction : Family support is one of the vital important in implementing Community Home Based Care (CHBC). Some of family member don’t give their family support to the mother HIV positive due to their fear of HIV transmission. Based on Friedman, family support is influenced by knowledge, age, gender, socio-economical, and kinship with the patient factors. The role of family as support system in giving care and aid for the family member that suffer from HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this study is to identify the correlation between family support and the knowledge, age, gender, socio-economical status, and the kinship with patient.
