DETERMINAN PERILAKU PERAWATAN ORGAN REPRODUKSI PADA SANTRI PUTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-KHODIJIYYAH KABUPATEN JOMBANG

There are still many reproductive health problems in Indonesiawhich require the attention of all parties. The reproductive health problems are caused bythe lack of knowledge, comprehension, and low responsibility among adolescent along withthe limited access to information of reproductive organ and functions which are not obtainedeasily. Personal hygiene is needed for reproductive organs treatment. It will reduce the problem of infectious disease. The general objective of this study areto identify andanalyze the determinants of behavioral treatments of reproductive organs among female students at Al-khodijjiyah Islamic Boarding School. This research using observational study with cross sectional designin 45 female students. The respondents are drawn from a population based on simple random sampling method. The independent variables in this study are the knowledge, attitudes, trust, resources, personal reference and culture, while the dependent variable is the behavioral treatment of reproductive organs. The results of researchshowed thatrespondents are 13 years old with the duration of stay in the boarding schools one year. The respondents have a good knowledge and good attitudes regarding the treatment of reproductive organ.They have personal reference to emulate the treatment of reproductive organ behaviorat the Islamic boarding school.The results of logistic regression test indicated that the most influential factor is the respondents knowledge (p = 0.029; OR = 0.165), attitude (p = 0.009; OR = 0.113) and personal reference (p = 0.049; OR = 0.199). This research concludes that the most influential factor on behavioral treatments ofreproductive organs among the respondents is personal reference. Based on the research results, it is advisable to increase the comprehension, knowledge and trust both to the respondents and teacher regarding the behavioral reproductive organs treatments
