The subjective assessment of health and the lifestyle among elderly patients from LSMU Kaunas Clinic Hospital

Aim: To analyze and evaluate the sociodemographic, health criteria, subjective outlook on the patients own health, lifestyle habits and the interfaces between them in elderly patients of LSMU Kaunas Clinic hospital, Family medicine clinic. Objectives: 1. To assess the sociodemographic, health criteria and subjective outlook on the patients own health. 2. To investigate the lifestyle of the respondents by evaluating their nutrition, physical activity and harmful habits. 3. To estimate the connections between sociodemographic, health criteria, subjective outlook on the patients own health and the nutrition habits of the respondent. Methods: A survey has been conducted at LSMU Kaunas Clinic hospital Family medicine clinic about the lifestyle habits and subjective health. The study consisted of 100 elderly respondents. 100 forms of questionnaire were collected, the response rate was 100 %. A specific questionnaire was designed for the survey. Statistical analysis was performed using software program SPSS Statistics and Microsoft Excel 2010. The differences of the empirical data compared using the χ² analysis tool. p
