Survival in pulmonary hypertension according to the data from single pulmonary hypertension center

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a rare, severe and progressive disease that causes right heart failure. The survival of patients with this disease, even with the maximum appropriate treatment, usually ranges from several months to several years. PH is confirmed by right heart catheterization with a mean pulmonary artery pressure of> 25 mm Hg at rest, and pulmonary vascular resistance above Wood 3 units. Although many studies have been carried out in the world, it is still not clear what factors lead to better survival rates for patients with PH, and the data of patients at PH Center of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences have not yet been analyzed on this topic at all
