Polyafective common-law marriage as an overcoming from the compulsory discourse of monogamy to the legal conception of families

The present work has as its goal the cross-sectional study of the right to establish a polygamist common-law marriage, aiming to analyze the issues of facts and laws by which the recognition of these family entities has not yet been satisfied by the Legislative Branch. The monograph also has the scope to carry out a historical analysis about the Brazilian family models, the applicable legislation to the specific case, the institutes of law that can be applied, the studies of specialists to give a solid opinion on the best possible way for the guaranteeing the formation of the plural families, and confirming private autonomy as a basis for full compliance with the principle of human dignity and affection.VALE S.
