OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to investigate adverse prognostic CT findings in patients with advanced-stage lung adenocarcinoma who are receiving epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy as first-line therapy. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We included 199 patients (71 men and 128 women; mean +/- SD age, 64.3 +/- 11.2 years) with stage IIIB or IV lung adenocarcinoma who received first-line EGFR-TKI therapy between January 2009 and December 2015.
