의학과/박사[한글] [영문] INTRODUCTION The absorption of nutrients in parasite infected intestine have been tested experimentally by several workers; Symons and Fairbairn (1963) with nippostrongylus brasiliensis in rats. Gilbert et al. (1965) with trichinella spiralis in guinea pigs. Their results showed that the rate of intestinal absorption of radioactive carbohydrate was markedly decreased. The radioactive isotopes have been applied for the study of intestinal absorption test. Ka-plan (1958) used l**131 triolein and oleic acid in case of pancreatic or intestinal disease and found that fat absorption was markedly decreased.
