My research activities are fueled by the various challenges inherent to the exploitation of the subsurface such as energy storage, complex deposit exploitation or deep storage of radioactive waste. Combined, these research areas put up a broad multidisciplinary field that I undertook about sixteen years ago. Considering the complexity and diversity of the scientific disciplines included, my contribution in those domains was of different natures, but was always keeping a global approach, based on a macroscopic understanding of the encountered phenomena.
