[[abstract]]A core-shell structure based on three-dimensional micro-cuboids connected by photonic nanojets is proposed with the aim for power enhancement of surface plasmon polaritons. The performance of the core-shell micro-cuboid is evaluated and compared with the dielectric micro-cuboid. The dependence of the power enhancement with the metallic shell is also evaluated and demonstrated that the metallic shell is critical for engineering photonic nanojet. The subwavelength focusing is obtained from the photonic nanojet. The significant effect of core-shell micro-cuboids can be used to distinguish nano-scale objects.[[notice]]補正完
