[[abstract]]Gardner's MI theory stretches the word intelligence beyond its IQ-based application and provides a broader spectrum of human cognitive ability in educational psychology. This theory holds that each one possesses eight intelligences at least and reaffirms teachers' beliefs that every student is potential for development in learning. To assist students to develop their learning potentials, MI theory inspires teachers to adopt multiple teaching methods that adapt to or broaden students' learning styles.
