Background Subcutaneous nerve stimulation (ScNS) damages the stellate ganglion and improves rhythm control of atrial fibrillation (AF) in ambulatory dogs. Objective The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that thoracic ScNS can improve rate control in persistent AF.
