Considering the use of posts, their removal is sometimes necessary. However, the best removal technique considering time spent for removal, costs and preservation of healthy dental tissue is still unknown. The purpose of this study was to perform a randomized in vitro study, to answer what is the best way to remove an intracanal post. The retainers were cemented with self-adhesive resin cement and zinc phosphate cement in maxillary and mandibular molars endodontically treated according to randomization (glass fiber or cast metal post).
