Araçazeiro is a native species of Rio Grande do Sul and presents great potential for economic exploitation. Its fruit is of great appreciation for in natura consumption and also offers possibilities to compose agroindustrial products. The lack of adequated cultural practices to the management of this crop, in which the recommendation of fertilization adjusted to conditions of soil and climate where the araçazeiro is adapted in Brazil, are factors that contribute to productivity limitations and expansion.
