Diazatriphenylenes and their thiophene analogues: Synthesis and applications

This review highlights the recent advances in the field of the synthesis of diazatriphenylenes and their structural analogues, such as phenanthrenes, fused with the thiophene ring, and naphthalenes, condensed with two thiophene rings.
