Subjetividades otras en las manifestaciones artísticas en redes sociales: Ficciones y realidades

Throughout the last three decades, one of the main elements of global development has been democratization and, as a consequence, the spread of communication. The internet and social networking sites have allowed users to become creators, producers, spectators and, content consumers. Thus, the present article analyses the artworks of artists who use the strategies that social networking sites offer to subvert and reflect on the widespread practices of users on the internet on social platforms. In addition, online social relationships often undergo an uncontrolled sharing of privacy through selfie culture and self-projection of a digital identity. Therefore, a selection of artistic manifestations is examined in the web 2.0 environment.
