[EN] Studies on the history of women and gender, as well as more recent researches on the history of biol-ogy and genetics, have shown that the more you look for women the more you find them. Women have always contributed to the production of knowledge and the de-velopment of its different branches, although they have been excluded from the historiography of science and recognition. By reviewing the role of women in the his-tory of biology and genetics, from those who married col-leagues to those who remained single, this work is a con-tribution to its recovery in the scientific and cultural space and also in the academic and educational sphere.
