Máster Universitario en Química industrial.Las 4-ariliden-5(4H)-oxazolonas son una familia de moléculas con conocida actividad fotofísica. En el presente trabajo se ha tratado de mejorar estas propiedades luminiscentes mediante la coordinación de un átomo de paladio a su estructura a través de reacciones de activación C-H. La esfera de coordinación del Pd se completa con acetilacetonato como ligando auxiliar en los productos finales. Las oxazolonas de partida contienen grupos metóxido en el anillo 4-arilideno y sustituyentes electroatractores en el anillo 2-arilo para potenciar el efecto push-pull e incrementar adicionalmente las propiedades luminiscentes.
